The SCB-9651, an Intel® Sandy Bridge-EP / Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon 4S processor base platform, is a hardware platform developed for maximum performance,scalability and functionality in 4U network service appliance. 

Two Intel® QuickPath Interconnects running up to 8.0GT/s speeds which can combine with Intel® Xeon® E5-4600 series processor (Socket R) in their respective two sockets can reduce cross-socket memory I/O 
latencies and increase throughput. 

Four E5-4600 series processor with up to 10 cores, 20MB cache and latest PCIe 3.0 interface which provide a total of 80 PCIe lanes up to 8Gbps per lane.

Each CPU socket supports 4 DDR3 channels with speeds up to 1600/1866 MHz and maximum capacity up to 256 GB of ECC memory when using the latest LR DIMM technology.

The Intel® C604 chipset supports standard platform I/O and highest speed mass storage which supports two 3.5” SATA hard disks or solid state drives.

The SCB-9651 platform can offer different types of expansion module; such as 10Gigabit SFP+, Gigabit copper with by-pass function and Gigabit fiber ports. The max capacity can provide 128 ports.
